Life without meat

-this post is a response to another blogpost.

I’m a huge fan of meat. There are no vegetarians among my friends or family members, but whenever I approach a vegetarian at a summer school or anywhere abroad, it’s difficult to imagine how they could live their lives without meat. Most vegetarians argue that slaughtering animals for a human food source is unjust. Some vegetarians go to the extreme and do not eat any dairy products because they’re from animals.

Above is a photo of a vegetarian pizza without cheese. It’s one of the strangest food I have eaten. Biting through pieces of pepperoni and a thick layer of slick cheese all the while smelling the tabasco sauce and grease–all the wonderful elements of enjoying a piece of pizza was just not there.

Mmm… I’m hungry already and it’s only 9 in the morning…
